Bull's Head with Steve Waterman
03/02/2010
CUJO are pleased to announce we will be working with world-renown trumpeter and composer Steve Waterman for a run of gigs from 3rd-6th February 2010.
Steve, whose career has spanned 20 years, has worked with jazz and cabaret artists worldwide and is well known as one of Britain’s top jazz trumpet players, both at home and internationally. The performer and composer has his own quintet and in 2003 formed an 18-piece jazz orchestra.
The compositions, which will be written and arranged by Steve Waterman, promise to be exciting and unique, combining the innovative, contemporary styles of CUJO with the accomplished notes of Steve – jazz fans will not be disappointed!
The three concerts will all take place early February;
- 3rd Feb, 8.30pm - Bull's Head, Barnes, London
- 5th Feb, 7pm - Corn Exchange, Bury St Edmunds
- 6th Feb, 8pm - West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge

The Bull’s Head, located in the heart of leafy Barnes Village and overlooking the river Thames, likes to think of themselves as the last bastion of ‘proper pubs’ in Barnes.
Since November 1959, Modern Jazz has been an integral part of The Bull’s Head. The pub is unique in that jazz concerts have been performed seven nights a week and on Sunday lunchtimes, come rain or shine, for 50 years. The superb location and strong jazz feel of the pub make it an ideal setting for this unique collaboration.
